It's really not too bad of a port all things considered.

2 issues I have/had.

1 the textures aren't up to par for todays games on pc.
and 2, it seemed to do the Crysis thing with my HDTV, as in it picks the lowest or first refresh rate available in fullscreen mode and that happens to be 24hz which ends up in plain black screen. I was able to create a custom resolution in my nvidia control panel to get by it but it shouldn't be needed.

Neither should playing on a TV. lol at pretending to have standards and then doing that.

My plasma kicks the crap out of my 120hz monitor in picture quality... Standards... Try raising yours.

What resolution did you create if you don't mind me asking? I created a custom 1920x1079/60hz resolution but both my main TVs, a Panasonic ZT60, and a Sharp Elite can't seem to resolve such resolution with the proper colour space. Simply put, blacks are crushed when I select the aforesaid settings.

I don't see how you having a garbage monitor is relevant? That just makes it worse, not only are you using a TV but you also have a monitor that's so bad the TV is better lol...

I actually did use 1920x1079@60. Just left everything at default. I use a 46" Panasonic Viera plasma. You can try 1916x 1080 as I've seen that recommended a few times too.

lol? I can pretty much guarantee I have a vastly superior complete home theatre than you, and based on your sig a vastly better PC too. You having weak, garbage components but nitpicking is hilarious.

Sit down peasant, all that ignorant arm waving is making me sick.

Clearly you don't if you don't even know how a plasma television compares to a monitor... yes even ips.

Here this site makes it so simple that even someone as simple as you is bound to look at the pretty pictures at the very least.

Thank you, DV8. 1916x1080 actually did work on the Sharp. The Panasonic plasma is still being a rebel, though.

Well you could just get one of those borderless window utilities that are out in the wild. You'd be playing in windowed mode but you wouldn't really be able to tell.

1 the textures aren't up to par for todays games on pc.

Expecting them to redo all their textures is probably a bit much.
