Normal? Crysis 3 game log says its running the 32 bit version

#1skillfactorPosted 1/11/2014 1:19:10 PM(edited)
I'm completely stumped trying to get this to run in 64bit mode.. figured I'd ask here since it's probably a conflict with my system. Task manager confirmed it showing crysis3.exe *32. I installed it from Origin to a different SSD dedicated for games if it that helps/matters and the game folder there only shows the bin32 edition. Any help is appreciated

Are they all, though?

BF4 is a 64-bit exclusive game. The original Crysis also had a 64-bit version, so I don't see why 3 wouldn't.

Go to Origin and check the game properties for BF4

I know that Bethesda released a patch for Skyrim so that it can use 4gb of ram, essentially acting as a 64 bit process. Outside of that, idk.

BF4 comes both ways, or at least it put a 64 bit link on my desktop.

Most games, though, just come as 32 bit. If you're lucky, it comes large address aware. Most devs don't want to worry about cutting out 32 bit users or making 64 bit users dig for a seperate .exe.

Once we perfect building Mechs, I expect there to be a factory in Mexico pumping out a brand call Mechsican. I wanna buy me a Mechsican.
