BF4 not working with new gpu?

I did it. I deleted the settings folder, and it worked.

It's weird though because Windows never searched for and installed drivers for a GPU for me ever. Is there a way to turn that off?

yes, its a setting you choose when you first install windows and can be changed by:

control panel -> system -> advanced system settings -> hardware (tab) -> Device installation settings -> No, let me choose what to do (never install driver software from windows update)

Yes I guess so, but sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. It'll say that game isn't responding, then crash the game.
