So im sitting with a Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 board, inside i have:

2x corsair 4g 1600 htz
Corsair tx 650 pow supply
Radeon HD 6950 dual fan GPU
AMD 3.3 6core
Samsung 120 SSD
Seagate 2TB

So im thinking a new GPU first
Then motherboard along with a i7
Then some better ram last.

Id love some expert advice here, thanks in advance.

Get an i7 and motherboard first. Your video card isn't that old.

I would suggest an i7 4770K with a new motherboard and aftermarket cooler first. Then a new GPU once they move to the 20mm GPU technology.

Maybe this MB would be waste of cash?

The mobo is nice, but the CPUs for it are very pricey

Get an 8350 and then a new card and you will be set. No need to do make a whole new pc, since your mobo supports the 83XX and 9XXX series.

I have been looking to upgrade into i7 because people keep telling wet stories about it.

The processor you linked look quite good tho.
My current one is clocked to 4ghtz

You should get at least a 3930k or 4930k if you buy LGA 2011. Otherwise, just get an i7 for LGA 1150.
