A friend of mine out in California is having issues with his PC. He has Windows 8.1 upgraded from Windows 8. When he tries to boot up the PC it takes him to Windows Repair and when he tries to to a repair he can't he gets an error that Windows is missing files and can't recover it. I tried doing a google search but haven't gotten any relevant results.
Any idea on what to do? Or should I just have my friend call MS? --- Proud owner of Xbox 360, Xbox One, 3DS XL (Black/Black) Wii U Deluxe PS Vita, PS3 and a gaming PC

Maybe create a recovery disk and reinstall everything. His recovery drive may have been corrupted. --- Oh, I don't want to walk that far. Anything that takes more than 12 steps isn't worth doing! Eh? 12? Get it? Steps! Hehehe.- Homer J. Simpson
