Gaming Laptop with $2000 budget. Help!

#15squadPosted 1/22/2014 3:16:33 PM
First off I'm not trolling.
I have a budget of $2000.00 and I'm looking for a gaming laptop because of the portability of it. I'm deciding between ASUS, AW and MSI.... and while I know AW is overpriced, they do have the best warranty and customer service of the bunch.

Anyone have any suggestions?
I'd love to have a GTX 780m graphics card, just so I dont feel like I'm outdated in a month, but other than that and an SSD, I am indifferent about the rest of the specs that would be in this budget.

What suggestions would you all recommend?

single 780m is $2000

sli 780m is another $2500

alienware 18 with 780m sli is the best

When you've been on this forum for longer than 4 years... then you have a right to comment on my threads without using your space bar.

Clearly you've been logging in on this site for far too many days to have a life outside of trolling other people's threads. Go pester people who havent been registered on this site, since before you were old enough to get a hard on!

Not that I need to justify myself to you but to shed light on why I'm asking the question... I am on the road frequently with work for months at a time, and can't exactly log a PC on an airplane. So bringing a laptop along is much more feasible. Not to mention I have a wife who likes my company on occasion, so being able to game while I'm in the same room with her earns me bonus points. Anyone who's married or has been married would understand this.

I got this. I've liked it so far. No major problems and it has a good power/price ratio. I think. (I got it for 1599 about four months ago)
