In my bios it says the cpu temp is at 55c. In windows at idle on speed fan is shows 37c ,on hwmonitor it shows two diodes one is at 37c and the other at 55c. This is a single core cpu. I'm running aida64 extreme right now and at idle it shows cpu at 55c. In speed fan the only one that is that high is remote temp I don't know what that is. I'm running the stress test in aida64 and the cpu on aida64 max's out at 65-68c mean while speed fans cpu is at 39c and remote at 65-68c.
I changed the thermal paste about 3 times already whats going on with this temps?
The cpu is a celeron d 352.

It's prob just misplacing the CPU temps. --- i7-920 @ 3.6 // 770 GTX // 12 GB G.Skill Sniper Ram // PS3 // 360 FiiO e9+17 // AD700 + M50 // Deck Legend + 82 // DAS Ultimate S

Bios readings are often inaccurate if I remember correctly. Usually hwmonitor gives me accurate temps though. --- is haha

But I'm being given completely different readings for each software. I don't know which one is really my cpu temp.

I disconnected the cpu fan to see what temp would go up and the cpu temp in aida64 showed 98c and speed fan only went up to 39. I turned the computer off and put the fan back on and the temps went back to 59c. on reboot.
