What's the best way to connect my PC to wireless internet.

The router is too far from my room to do a direct connection.

Is it better to buy a wireless card or one of those USB antennas?

The computer is mainly for gaming, so I need at least a decent connection speed to avoid lag.

Also once someone linked me to a thing that you could connect directly to the router tru a power plug and then conne t the other to a PC and you could get the same speed as if you were conne tad dire try yo the router.

I'm using this: http://www.amazon.com/PCE-N10-Wireless-N-Network-Transmit-Interface/dp/B004ZMGBLQ

Until I stop being lazy and drill a few holes so I can run a cable to my desktop, anyways.

The best kind. Powerline adapters are fantastic if you can't have a true wired connection for whatever reason.

Is there any downside to using one of these? Will it be as fast as using an true Ethernet connection to the router, and will it effect ping or anything else while playing online games?
