Man, we used to build things sturdy, huh!?
Electronics were a lot less powerful then, so most of them really weren't prone to overheating due to lack of heat output. So of course older electronics are sturdier.

My 1TB Hard drive. Bought it April of 2009. It makes really grindy sounds often, but I've checked it and got no bad sectors or anything, so I guess it's still okay. It's too bad because it has a 5 year warranty and I would love to get it replaced with a new one.
