Personally I would opt for Windows 8.1 Pro but that is a matter of preference. --- "The two most common elements in the universe are Hydrogen and stupidity." Harlan Ellison

Outside of the case, powersupply, mother board, and video card. It looks like what I built in September for school, but I needed a new CPU anyways. Looking to pick up a 780 here pretty soon to finish it. --- 21B64R09E14A35K92T29H45E17W43A82L95L19S57D36O18W39N8Y2J (V)0-0(V) This is Mudcrab. Well TC, your PSU supply is only 550 watts with 42 amps.
Your video card requires 42 amps on the dot.
You bought a processor thats made for overclocking
You might want to consider a slightly bigger PSU, maybe 600-650 watts quality one.

+1 for Win8.1. Given all the new features, performance improvements, decreased boot times, and the fact that you never actually have to use Metro, there's really no reason to go with 7. --- 4670k | 2GB GTX 770 OC | 8GB 1600 9-9-9-24 | 120GB SSD | 1TB WD Blue | Win8.1 Pro http://i597.photobucket.com/albums/tt56/S26DG44B/PsythikViolet_Blooded.jpg

You should get the Logitech G400(s) instead of the G500. Better sensor. Other than that, idk
That PSU should be fine btw, no way that system will draw more than 550w --- http://steamcommunity.com/id/katanaman444 Pccouchcoop.com http://www.co-optimus.com/system/4/pc.html

How to put the pieces together and what's better then similar components is about where my PC knowledge ends so all I can say is to try and find a local PC store and try out different style of mice there if you haven't already.
As it seems like you're building this with gaming in mind of course go with a gaming mouse but more then anything else you'll want something that just feels comfortable and natural to hold to you. --- Crowd: Free Tibet, Free Tibet Peter: I'll take it, hey China I have something you want but it'll cost ya...That's right all the tea GT: Garudin
