is the $700 4K Dell monitor worth it?

thinking of getting one, but at 4K, i would defiantly need another R9 290

30hz refresh isn't it? I'd wait for 60hz minimum.

Not until next couple of years. It's still very expensive and runs 4k at only 30Hz. For 60, it will drop down to 1080.

is 30hz all around, or is 1080P capable of running at 60hz?

I was under the impression the 4k dell monitor was going to be ips and 60hz... Now a tn and 30hz... My dreams=crushed.... I decided it would be much better to buy an actual 4k hdtv anyways and hopefully a reasonably priced plasma.

I have a 3 monitor setup already with a 1440p monitor. The ultimate way to play 4k pc games would be on a projector I would imagine.I will have to look into it.

1080p does 60hz but I don't see a point buying a 4k to use 1080p personally.

no 60hz, no buy. Don't care what the price is.

Idk why people care so much about >30hz. Our eye can only see 30fps, so anymore is useless.

Just buy a 144hz, 1080p monitor if that's what you're looking for. 30hz renders it pointless; IDC if it was 8K.

I'd buy it if it was 60hz, though.
