A few months ago I removed my authenticator through a ticket to support as I had a new phone and couldn't get in any longer. Today I got another email that my authenticator had been removed (again? even though I never added it back yet) and that I needed to reset my password. Now when I try to do so I need either the answer to my secret question that I set up years ago, or the license key, but of course the only game that I have a physical copy of - and thus a cd key right in front of me for it, (D2) isn't an option provided by Blizzard.
Is there any way I can pull the information from the registry key of HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\S2\License to figure out what the first 6 characters of the key is, or do I need yet another ticket for something that wasn't even a problem before Blizzard decided to lock my account?
Yeah, just really didn't want to get in touch with them if I could avoid it since they decided to recycle my old ticket to create this problem in the first place. I figure if I send in another ticket, some months from now something else will happen to my account when support gets bored again.
