What's the best PC video capture software?

I have Fraps, but the file sizes tend to be on the other side of freaking enormous, so I was looking to see if they're were other good options.

Thanks!

Have you tried shadow play yet?

Shadow play.

It's not exactly the most feature filled, but I've yet to see a program that doesn't have a big impact on performance besides shadow play.

But it only works if you have a good card. If you have an old card or an amd card you're SOL.

Does Shadow Play capture to file, or is it stream only?

TC, I've used MSI Afterburner and it's file sizes are much more reasonable, but still high. A 7min 720p 30fps clip at 85% quality is about 2 GB.

I've got a Battlefield 4 video, recorded on shadowplay, that is 5 minutes long @ 1080p 60fps and is only 1GB. Shadowplay requires at least a GTX 650 though.
