By still run, I mean play games today?

Im not looking to play big new games on it, like Battlefield 4, or anything. Mostly single player games like Fallout, or Bioshock. I mean I might play older games like TF2 or L4D2 if I can. But mostly I am buying it off him because my laptop is dying and I dont feel like splurging to get a new one

http://www.asus.com/us/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/G73Jh/#specifications

He says it has the one with the i7 processer, 6GB RAM, 1600x900 resolution screen.

Only reason he is selling it, is because he was hit crossing the street a few months ago, and the guys insurance determined it was the drivers fault. So he got a huge settlement and bought a brand new laptop 3 weeks ago.

But he said it still runs perfectly and he was using it up until he got the new one.

Really?
Well I have no idea about all this computer mumbo-jumbo haha. Sadly I am far better at networking then actually building PCS or knowing anything about their componants.
Still a console scrubbie.

So how well will it play modern games then? I know its a few years old. Like would it play BF4 decently if I tried?

That's actually a steal for the price. If it still works ok. That will probably run a lot of new games at least on high. Should have no problem maxing out anything you said you wanted to play will plenty of room to spare.

Pretty well. You could even play BF4 on low or maybe even medium if you wanted to.

You can't really do any better for $175. I'd say go for it.

Honestly it will run extremely well, especially for the price.

Ooh., Cool.

Also, dont know much about computers and upgrading. But how hard would it be to upgrade that type of computer? Like add in more Ram or something?

RAM and replacing the HDD/SSD might be doable. They likely are, but some laptops have the RAM soldered on. Don't expect to replace anything else, though.
