Monitors

I'm trying to decide between these two monitors:

or something better around the same price if anyone knows of any. The resolution doesn't need to be crazy, I just want a monitor that displays games smoothly and looks nice.

ASUS over ACER any day of the week

Well, I'm pretty sure you already know this, but the Acer is a 27 inch and the Asus is a 23 inch. Both are beautiful displays. However something very worth noting is that the Asus monitor has a TN panel, while the Acer one has a VA panel. TN panels are typically cheaper, but their color depth isn't as good at VA, and their colors look more distorted when you look at it from the side.

Unless you're on a tight budget I would get the Acer, despite most of the things I've heard of Acer's build quality. The acer monitor would probably look better, and have deeper blacks.
