So now my mother's computer boots up extremely slow.

But Malwarebytes says there's no viruses or w/e.
I have absolutely no idea what's wrong. Even takes forever to get into Safemode.
She also has this ****ing MacAfee that she refuses to remove, and it even activates IN SAFE MODE.

Thing is cancer and I swear that its the problem.

Install a virus to show your mom that McAfee isn't a cure-all end-all.

Serious comment, but maybe she dropped it, TC.

My mom had me go through extensively to find out what was wrong with her computer. I couldn't find a damn thing. Long story short, it fell off the side of a desk about five feet. The HDD was obviously failing.

It's most likely a dying hard drive or a bad stick of RAM.

As long as it can store porn, you keep kicking that camel till it dies.

It is usually not virus. But I know what mistake women often do with PC. That is installing every program by keep clicking next, and didn't uncheck the 'start at startup' setting. It is OK for one or two programs but when it keep adding up, well.

That list is a long one, brother. We'd be here all night if you went through it.
