You mean other than the daily deals, week-long sales, midweek madness, weekend deals and other random sales?

Last year there was a spring sale in late March, but it only featured indie games.
The next (almost) guaranteed large sale is mid-summer.

Wait... what?

General rule of thumb is to wait until the large sales (summer and winter) if you're going to buy games in bulk for your new computer. Skyrim Legendary went for about 20 bucks during the last sale, so yeah, it's best to wait. Although the daily, weekend, and midweek deals are great too.

Really... If you want it, you have the money, and you'll play it, just buy it :P

If you've played Skyrim, wait on a sale. If not, it's easily worth full price. It's a fantastic game.

But there are sales every week. What the games are, there's no telling. They seem random.

It was 75% off during the winter sale so that much is pretty much a guarantee, I just doubt it'll be 80% off though.

Now TC in the meantime check out Amazon digital (if you have a US address) and greenmangaming.com they both have some pretty good deals. Then there's humblebundle.com, and a lot of that stuff will activate on Steam so don't be afraid to look around there will be some awesome deals if you know where to look.

okay that's awesome to hear! think i'll wait for skyrim, as i'll have more time to play it in summer anyways!

in the mean time i think i'll get into games like starbound and the banner saga, as those look like some pretty fun games.

thanks!

There was a rather large halloween sale.
A rather large thanksgiving week sale
Then a rather large year end sale.

A few months prior there was the summer sale.

Games can also go way above 50%, even 95%.
Heck, sometimes they give away games. Left 4 Dead 2 was free this past sale.

Just check every day around 1EST, a new sale is always abound.
