If Nintendo were to go the route of becoming a third party publisher. There is no way in hell they'd put their games on steam. If you think EA is tight with its prices and sales, wait until you get a load of Nintendo.

Nintendo can't get online right, they can't get VC right, Wii U Eshop is especially a joke...Things purchased are still tied to console despite NNID linking 3DS and Wi U
I love Nintendo. But they're so behind the times with anything internet related.
Exactly my point! If they hired someone with the skill to create a client as easy as steam to buy their games on PC and ran it just as steam with sales and leaderboards/online added and such you would use it right? I know I would and a bunch more who would as well. They would make MILLIONS and not really have to create much "new" content.
If they fix their console/handheld online issues along with a PC client I'd be very pleased indeed. I'd support it for sure. Anything to get them out of the online stone age haha.

Calling it a Nintendo "Origin" would kill it before it got a chance lol.
For the Nintendo hardcore they'd drag their balls over broken glass to play the titles no matter what client they were tied to.
Its true i would. Nintendo games just have a quality to them. Ive gamed a long time and on a ton of platforms but Nintendo games just have a charm not found else where. Ive been playing all the old gamecube/wii games i barely touched because of xbox and Halo phase i was in for a while there. this time im playing them in dolphin and its incredible the detail of these games in HD and the FUN you have playing especially couch coop. wiis motion controls were actually pretty fun.

Nintendo is fine as it is. When the moment comes that every other company is selling you air and "rights", while taking away your right to freaking own anything, Nintendo will still be there, selling you real video games that are almost exclusively offline and aren't trying to be interactive movies.
