It's a 128 GB SSD I found for really cheap, just $100 (AUD remember for pricing)

Here's my 1 TB HDD: https://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=26103

I struggled pretty hard to fill my 500 GB HDD as it is, so I decided to simply buy a 1 TB (my internal is slow), especially cos games and stuff are about to get a whole lot bigger very soon. I'm gonna chuck the SSD into my laptop as an internal and boot Windows on it, as well as a few other things, then have my Seagate as a storage device for all my other stuff that would load the same on an SSD. On the SSD, I'm gonna try and keep the stuff I have on it down, probably just gonna use Steam Mover to switch them over to the SSD if I use them very regularly.

Good buy? $220 inc. Shipping in Australian Dollars, for a 128 SSD and 1 TB HDD? There was also a 3 TB going for $125, but I don't need the extra 2 TB, plus I was trying to keep money down where possible.

Looking on that site, the 120gb 840 evo is the same price as the one you linked, $109. I couldn't easily find anything about Fujitsu SSDs so they're either new or not terribly common/popular. It will probably be fine but I would have gotten the evo over it.

E: http://www.harddrivebenchmark.net/hdd.php?hdd=Fujitsu+SSD+128GB

I don't know what the performance numbers mean (I'm assuming a balance of read and write, it's just the Passmark Disk Rating) but the 840evo 120gb is about 25% better with that SSD scoring lower than every single one of the top 10 most common SSDs currently on the market. Honestly, I'd return it and pay the few extra dollars for an evo.

It also uses a sandforce controller which apparently have issues currently.

The Evo is 7 mm though, I was after a 9.3 or 9.5 mm drive, cos I've tried with other people's drives in the past, it moves around a lot in my laptop when it's too small. I know it shouldn't matter for an SSD, but I'm very careful with drives after my last one in an XP computer crashed and I lost everything. Anyway, that benchmark you linked to says the drive is $1413. Which it's definitely not. There are different Fujitsu models, so I'm guessing the one you searched wasn't the right one. Anyway, PC Case Gear says the 840 EVO is 540 mb/s write and 410 max read speeds, much slower read and slightly slower write times than the 308. If it bungs up for something, I'll definitely go the 480, but hopefully it comes through fine.

I was asking to make sure it would be fine, that it's not known to be a dud, whatever. But thanks for being a dick, sure making the PC board look like crap.
