Besides graphics, what am I missing out on by not having a gaming PC? Is there a good community? Are there any games out there now that are worth it? Other thoughts?

Mods.

The thing consoles will never have which can increase the replayability of a ton of games. Had FTL been a console exclusive, there is no way I would have sunk as much time as I have into it.

Awesome, didn't even think of that. I'm also worried of sucking because of the mouse and keyboard

Don't worry you will. You'll get used to it though and stop sucking.

I can name a ton more things. Backwards compatibility for example. On my Windows 7 computer, I can play any game that was made for PC, no matter how old, whether it be using something like DosBox or simply finding a fix for it to run on modern computers.

And don't worry about the mouse and keyboard things, you'll learn in time, but AFAIK, all controllers out for modern consoles are compatible for PC (I'm pretty sure even the Wii U controller can be used with the PC, however with limited functionality.)

I don't know about the regular (big ass screen) Wii U controller, but you can use their excellent Pro controller with it's 40+ hour battery life via bluetooth with some tweaking.

There are programs to bind mouse & keyboard to controller. I'm using Joytokey right now.

Oh, you thought they made this game for you? You clearly bought the wrong game.

Can't talk about the build as much, but I will say you get more variety in your games.

In the past year, I've put more hours into games like Terraria or FTL than typical AAA games.
