Hard drive only showing 100gb, and it's 1TB!

Hey just got Windows 7 installed on a new rig and I notice that I only have 10 gb of free space left. Weird. I have been installing my programs, but there is now way that is correct. I right click on my computer and it shows only 100 total GBs. A partition issue. I have 965 GBs on a back up drive of free space. How do i correct this and unlock all my space? I have a screencap of disc management with me rightclicking over the back up drive so you can the options. I click format but it wont let me.

I would appreciate any help, I really need to get this sorted out.

Thanks a ton!!

It looks like no letter is assigned to your "back-up drive"?

Do you by any chance have a 120GB HDD and a 1TB HDD? because that's what it looks like to me.

Yep... 120 GB SSD and a 1 TB HDD perhaps?

Sorry, when I installed windows 7 I came across a primary and secondary option to install it on. I read somewhere (now I'm guessing it was a mistake) to install windows on the smaller option. That being the 100 gb. I guess I goofed because I really need that other space, what should I do?

I wanted the 1tb to be my main storage and the 120sdd for my OS.

Click the option about drive letters and paths. Give it a letter.
