Has Blizzard justified trying to sell Diablo3 XP for 100% price but 25% content?

Seems pretty weird they're asking $40/$60 for an expansion that adds a fifth act to a four act game that costs the same.

They don't have to justify it. Their fanboys will eat anything up.

Eh, "Blizzard" and "Diablo 3" pretty much speak for themselves.

Pure robbery. I hope the expansion fails to sell and is immediately discounted down at retailers and online.

Its their product, we live in a capitalistic economy, so they can sell it at whatever the price they believe will maximise their profit.

Blizzard always sells expansions for $40. Deal with it.

Every blizzard expansion has cost $40. The original game was $60 at launch and is still essentially an unfinished game. Cod ghost costs $60 and modern warfare can be found in the $5 bin and its the same game, different name.

Blizzard's expansions (minus the WoW ones) have always been rather pricey while simultaneously being low on content and significant changes. This isn't anything new.

People gobble them up anyway. I'm sure Diablo 3's expansion will be a best seller.

Lol...

At any rate, a new act, difficulty modes, more levels, more loot AND a new class. The class probably justifies the price by itself.
