Ikaruga Steam Edition is under final debugging.

I will buy this, not because I love Ikaruga, although it's a good game, but because we need Guardian Heroes ported to steam with online play!!

Please Treasure.

This game has been ported how many times now?

Neat, looking forward to it.

PC needs more games like this, and Gradius!

Dreamcast, GameCube, 360, Android(wait what?) and now PC.
For such a classic game, and especially since the Dreamcast and GameCube versions are pretty much unobtainable, and 360 is a bit **** for anything involving a dpad, this is pretty good news.

What's really sad is how often it's called "The Xbox 360 Live Arcade shooter Ikaruga" and not "The famous classic Dreamcast shooter Ikaruga".

It was originally an arcade game for the Sega NAOMI.

Yep.

Another great thing about the Dreamcast was how similar the hardware and GDRoms were to the NAOMI, which made porting arcade games relatively easy.

The game finally has a store page up-
http://store.steampowered.com/app/253750/?snr=1_7_15__13

Not really much there at the moment other than some screenshots and the same feature list. Still no eta, still no price tag.

DC port is what made it famous to begin with.
