What games similar to Assassins Creed 4 where there's a s***tload of s*** to do?

Right now I am having hella fun playing Assassin's Creed 4. It keeps me busy by making me find/collect a lot of stuff, attacking boats, earning the stuff needed to upgrade things, the main missions, etc. and I'm still kinda early in the gameI just got the huge ass ship for Nassuru. I haven't played online yet and I won't until I beat and 100% the single player. But just curious which games are similar to Assassin's Creed 4 in terms of how fun it is and having lots of stuff to do and having good replay value

Lol at ****load to do.

I 100% that game and it's all stupid collectible things or really easy ship battles to upgrade your ship which doesn't really need upgrades to finish the game. I regret wasting so much time collecting every single shanty and animus fragment for pretty much nothing.

You sound mad. If you didn't want to collect everything, why did you? Could have easily checked online to see if there was some sort of reward. It's a nice enjoyable zen like experience for me when I go collecting items. I tend to have a show on at the same time though so I can imagine 100% focus on the game while collectible hunting could become monotonous.

You could always find a trainer and pretend you unlocked some uber item/mode. The in game cheats are a nice touch imo.

Any reason to play multiplayer before beating single player?

I'd like to know too. I've tried most of the open world games out there, but their worlds are always so boring to traverse...

...And the AC4 copy I bought won't work on my computer :C

The multiplayer is the same as all the other games. There's no reason not to play multiplayer although it's not super active anymore.
