Virus in Wanderlust?

#1j_coatPosted 2/9/2014 5:26:11 AM(edited)
Just did a full scan on Malwarebytes and it found something in the Wanderlust files. It identified 39dll.dll as a Hacktool and I am wondering if this is just a common false-positive or if it is somehow infected. It also identifies something in Desura's Hoops Manager (horse/server.exe) as a virus as well as one of my web editors.(FirstPage)

So the Wanderlust Rebirth virus isn't just a common false-positive?

It a false positive. That dll is used to run netcode used for online features. There are several topics on this on the steam forums for several games. It's malwarebytes jumping to asinine conclusions.

That's funny, I had an idea for a board game that was called "Jumping to conclusions". You would literally jump to a conclusion.
