It doesn't matter what battery life the Asus has. If you buy a 15.6" laptop with 1366x768 resolution, you are perpetuating that resolution's existence, and I will hate you.

Seriously man. If, for some crazy reason, the wifi craps out, you can buy a 25 dollar tiny USB wifi plug-in that will achieve exactly the same thing. These two laptops aren't even in the same league.

I've watched some more reviews, and I guess I'll go with the Lenovo. They said it has a great heat sink, and the asus gets hot quick and uncomfortable to use. The asus keyboard is also cramped and the keys are plasticky and clicky. It's screen is also rather poor.

Lenovo's website says I can get refunds with free shipping, so if I don't like the y410p, I'll just give it back.

thanks

Both are absolute bottom of the barrel gaming laptops. Save up your money and buy something better or you'll be dissapointed a year from now when the newest games run like crap. Even the 755m is a bottom tier gaming laptop card (still better than the ASUS though) and will be running newish games now at medium settings (some less intensive games at high-ultra).

The Lenovo Y series is not known for good battery life so 3 hours is pretty accurate. My gf has a Y470p and it only lasts 2.5-3 hours when the only thing she's doing is reading PDFs. This is with the dedicated graphics disabled as well. Honestly at your price range don't expect anything that has a semi-decent dedicated graphics card to have more than 3-3.5 hours of battery life even with light usage.

In that case, I'll get the dell inspiron 15 7000.

I'm a college student, so I don't have much time for gaming. The only games that I feel I'll want to play on a computer are these:
Halo CE
Team Fortress 2
Skyrim

By summer, I'll be busy with an internship, and Dark souls 2 for the 360.

30 days from now those laptops will have 850M's in them.

February is a bad month to buy a system unless you're getting a mega clearance deal.
