I'm guessing this is because they're based outside the US, as it says?
This is a serious bummer. Do these two go on sale very often elsewhere? I'm quite new to the PC platform in terms of gaming, so I wouldn't know. Also, is there any way I could bypass this? I know they're relatively cheap even w/o the discounts but, eh, you know.
I'd say that if your bank is blocking it, it's because they see it as "unusual activity". I buy stuff online all the time and have never had them decline my card because of where I'm purchasing from, and yes, some of the stuff I buy from is in Italy and Germany and I think Australia one time...
If you're having a problem with it, I suggest you call your bank's customer service hotline and talk to someone and get it unblocked. --- http://raptr.com/badge/arleas/uc.png http://www.speedtest.net/result/3201564081.png

Some banks/cc companies block online transactions on sites with "gaming" in the title, good old games, gamersgate, green man gaming etc because they think it's an online gambling site. Not exactly sure why they do it but it's a known problem and even happened to me before so I use Paypal on those sites instead and that seems to work.

my bank flips out half the time when I buy stuff from GMG
if you yell at them enough on the phone, they'll unblock it and white list it on your card. --- http://www.anime-planet.com/images/users/signatures/ygfbv.jpg

Wells Fargo doesn't block it, I'll try my credit cards from Capital One and Chase to check those. --- Console war in a nutshell: http://imgur.com/xA6GJZ9.png

My bank doesn't allow overseas purchases. If I want to use GOG I have to call me. They will authorize your card for a few days for overseas. PayPal will not work. --- God Bless America.

Pretty much the way things go for me. Even paypal flags it for me on GMG.

Yeah you have to call your bank and specifically request to be allowed to shop somewhere. And then it's not permanent for some and you have to request each time. --- The man keeps us down because he likes to see us frown
