Radeon R9 270x help

#1FatesAngelPosted 2/11/2014 6:41:27 PM
I am building my first PC and I figured out all the parts I need. The only problem is that the graphics card I was gonna buy is sold out.

This is the one - MSI Radeon R9 270X Gaming Edition TwinFrozrIV 1.08GHZ 2GB 5.6GHZ GDDR5 2DVI HDMI DP PCI-E

Now on the website I was going to get it from says I can get another card in the 270X line but I am not sure if any other card will fit but if Radeon R9 270x cards are the same would this one have the same size as the first one?

This is the other - CLUB3D Radeon R9 270X 14SERIES 1080MHZ 2GB 5.6GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI

Could I simply swap out the first one for that second one?

Just off the top of my head...msi has one of the bigger coolers for the 270x. I really doubt the club 3d card, with a single fan I think, would be and longer or taller.

Thank you so much for the response!

So if the MSI one is compatible would the CLUB one be?

Here's the build with the MSI if you want a reference.

Otherwise just get similar stuff, like Asus. And I think I prefer Sapphire and XFX rather than Club3D
