I'm tempted to get the game, I loved the first Dungeon Keeper, and I never got to play the second one back in the day, but I've heard there are some fairly serious issues with the gog version of the game on Windows 7, is that still the case? Or does the game now run pretty well?

The game will crash often when you switch to the highest resolution and the game will still crash sometimes when you play at the default resolution.

Are these crashes when playing with gog's original release? On the game page under reader reviews, there are comments from the gog team saying the game has been updated since then with improved stability.

It also went on sale this morning, for less than 2 dollars, AND the first game is a free download for a day or so!

I got the free download, to have the first game again. And with the sale price of Keeper 2, I'm REALLY tempted to get it and hope that the issues are fixed or that I get lucky and I personally don't get them. Under two dollars is REALLY tough to pass up.

Are there any fan patches for this?
