The CPUs are terrible and won't perform well in games, the PSU is terrible. Overall it's pretty bad.

In otherwords, that CPU can't play modern games.

2/10 just because of the GPU. I suggest you just hit the quit button.

What he said. Those processors are 7 years old. It won't matter if you have 2 of them, it'll still be slow.

Also, that motherboard only has a pci-e 8pin slot, meaning the gpu isn't compatible with it. I get that your trying to build on a budget, but buying a used motherboard is a terrible idea.

Seems like you are attempting to craft the infamous "PS4 Killer".

I am offering a cash reward to anyone who can successfully put together a custom build that can best the PlayStation 4 at the same or lower price.

That's like asking to get a free computer. I'm sure you have a computer or a laptop that you type on already, now add that to the price of the Ps4 you bought.

I'm also paying a cash reward if you can prove you have more games than me on a single platform.

Yeah but for $50 holy s*** is that a good deal. I don't think you can do better for the price. It has a little under half the power of the 4770K (http://www.passmark.com/cpubenchmark/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Xeon+E5462+%40+2.80GHz) but 1/10 of the price. Even two of them will bottleneck a modern GPU (along with the MoBo since it only has 8x PCI-e 1.0 slots) but still.

Right, but now how bout some in-game performance? Also, I wouldn't trust that site at all. They're still claiming to have 280x's for $300, I'm calling BS just like him trying to post that a 760 GTX can be had for $190.

That's because the article is from 2011.

Have you never heard of Passmark? They make some very well-known and much used benchmarking software, so I trust their results.
