...of websites? Browsing siliconera is impossible because the site's mobile version gets locked up on giant-ass ads and popups.

In the settings, there should be something that says "Request Desktop Version" or something like that.

Switch to a browser that lets you choose your User Agent. Personally I use Boat Browser. I like it especially because it looks more like desktop Chrome than Chrome.

That request desktop site function hardly ever works, some websites still give you the mobile version. The worst thing is when you click a hyperlink, then the site loads the homepage
