Anyone have/played Thief: Deadly Shadows on Steam?

I re-installed it to give it a go again for the heck of it, especially now that I have a Wired 360 Controller. I was hoping that since the game was also developed for consoles, that it would be usable.

It is, and it even presets the movement to the left analog stick, but nothing else. And the control re-mapping in the option menu seems totally borked. I can only seem to click on a control mapping and then that press of the mouse button automatically makes it the left mouse click I think. I can't get it to allow me to enter my own new button.

Am I missing something here to be able to re-map the controls in general, but specifically to be able to actually map out my 360 Controller for use?

It's a pretty old game and it was released for the regular Xbox so I don't think it would really have xinput enabled. The controls are fine with KB+M though, the steam page doesn't indicate it has controller support so yeah :(

"What's wrong with the good ole keyboard?"

Nothing, especially with this series, but I have that controller and figured this would be a good game to get some use out of it.
