Played legitimate Crysis for the first time.

While it still looks amazing, play it with these custom shaders to really bring it up to todays standards.

Legitimate Crysis? What does this mean? Is there a non legitimate Crysis?

I guess I just meant I'm playing the full game finally. All I've ever played beforehand was just the demo, which only included the first island level.

OH OK. I sisnt even make it that far. I didn't like the game.

What sort of computer do you have now? I've been playing it myself and regularly see the game hovering down around 30 FPS with everything as high as it will go and 2x AA on an OC'd 7850 (1050/1450) and i3-3220.

I've got an i5 4670 with 8 gigs of RAM and a 7870 and max it out with 8x AA with no problems. I haven't actually checked the frame rates on any of the games I've tried on my new rig, but Crysis flies.

Hey I'm glad you're enjoying it and maxing it out. However, you're not maintaining 60fps in many locations I'm sure. The first enemy base for example. It's not possible maxed without dropping sub 60.

I'm psyched about gsync technology meshing with Crysis however. It'd be the first game I try.

I'm honestly not worried about framerate so long as it's nice and playable. I know people give console players a rough way to go because of the whole 30/60 FPS thing but it doesn't bother me any. I'm sure I'm not getting anything record breaking but it plays very well maxed out as far as I'm concerned and that's all I'm really worried about. I can run FRAPS or something and do some frame tests if anyone's interested but I doubt anybody would be.

I'd be interested, slightly. I'd be even more interested if you wanted to run the Crysis benchmark tool.

Edit: Also, would be even more interested if you could do a run with all settings maxed, including AA.

Can do, I'll probably run that tomorrow and get back to you on that.
