Any point in going 780 ti?

Or should I just wait for the up coming release? Can it be much better than the 780 ti at this point?

If you want to get a top of the line card, get the 780 ti now. The titan black still won't be as good, and the 790 will probably be 1000ish and a way off. The 800 line is late this year at best.

Incorrect. The Titan Black won't be any worse than the 780 Ti for gaming. I'm not saying people should be buying it. Just pointing that out.

If money isn't an issue, go ahead and buy one. But if it's going to make a sizable dent in your wallet, wait until faster cards with a better price:performance ratio come out. If the price scaled linearly with performance, the 780ti gives you about $450-worth of performance.

kind of depends on what GPU you have now. The GTX 780 Ti is an impressive card and the 800 series doesn't come out until Q3.
However if the entire 800 series has the same performance per watt as the GTX 750 Ti, the money you spend on a GTX 780 Ti now could give you a lot more performance in the form of an 800 series card at the same price point.

So I would hold off buying a card until Q3 unless your current card has trouble playing the games you want to play at acceptable settings for you.
