So... Essentially you're limited to this:

Because it matches your description, and the only things I can name that match your description are the Lenovo Yoga and the Microsoft Surface

And, 10gb will be taken up from starcraft's downloader. That is 1/3 of the surface's memory. So from what I know you are limited to the Yoga.

SC2 won't run on that, it's ARM based with Windows RT

E: Oh wait, there's X86 models as well, though that link didn't take me to one.

Your best bet would be a Razer Edge Pro. As of last week, it was on sell on amazon for $1099. I was really on the fence about getting one and instead decided to splurge and get an ASUS G750 gaming laptop.

The Razer Edge has had pretty decent reviews and is exactly what you are looking for. I would definitely spend the extra money to get the Pro though.

Just my 2 cents...

How is a $1000 gaming tablet exactly what I'm looking for when I'm looking something primarily for school and secondary to play low req games?

Probably has something to do with your requirement that it be a laptop/tablet hybrid that also has processing power - you're going to pay extra for power in that form factor, and your choices are going to be limited. Now, if you didn't need the tablet form factor you could just buy a $750-1000 power user laptop and be done.

No, I do want the tablet part, but as I said, I listed SC II on low settings. Nothing cheaper can run that smoothly?

Probably not, the other hybrids listed in this thread are likely far too low powered to even play the game smoothly at the lowest settings, and there aren't exactly a plethora of choices in the hybrid form factor. Like I said, if you can drop the tablet requirement you could prob buy a cheaper laptop + a tablet.
