HTML5 video on all web browsers show a black screen with only audio

#1Tony_Biggie_PunPosted 2/22/2014 7:08:38 AM
I've tried Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer and all three have no working HTML5 video. Audio plays fine, but video isn't. In IE, the screen video is green, in firefox and chrome its black.

Anybody know how to fix this It seems like it could be a driver issue since its messed up in every browser

Just fixed the issue by rollling back my drivers. AMD must have f***ed something up in their latest update

I had this same problem, and I'm going to take a shot in the dark here: in the event that you have switchable GPUs like I do (laptop), the issue with me was my AMD card could not read HTML5 video. In case you've done something to switch the priority of your two graphics cards, (like AMD's Catalyst Control Center) try making sure that its the non-AMD card that operates for your browser. This way you can still use the latest AMD driver.
