Well, I have my 2560x1440 connected through DVI-D so that's not the issue. My problem is having recently purchased a display port to DVI-D adapter for my 120hz monitor, the highest refresh rate I can get is 60hz. I pretty much decided to keep the the 120hz around so when I want to play a 3D game every now and then but if I can only get 60hz that obviously draws a problem. After doing some research, it appears the adapter I have is a passive adapter. Would getting an active adapter allow me to get 120hz? --- GT:Triple S 06 Steam ID:triples22
I wasn't joking tho, you wouldn't have this issue with AMD. --- Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Weep, and you weep alone. The armory of god is guarding me but all you can see is holographic artistry.
