I use Foxit. It's better than Adobe at least.

I got foxit but...

When I open some pdf files they open in foxit, some open in the foxit firefox plugin, and some open in adobe acrobat (in firefox). Wtf is going on?

There's nothing wrong with Adobe Reader these days and that's what I recommend. Foxit was fine back when Adobe Reader was a turd, but that's a thing of the past, and if you really want a super quick/super lightweight reader, I recommend Sumatra over Foxit... but I still recommend Adobe Reader.

I recommend Sumatra over Foxit.

That's what I use... Foxit was ok at first but somehow over time it started acting freaky and I just looked for something else.

I use use the browser's built-in PDF reader, but if you insist on having a separate reader, use Sumatra. This may not be accurate, but I've heard a rumor that Foxit is bundled with malware.
