Battlefield 4 will do you good.
You can spend $400 on a console and $400 on a cheap PC, or you can spend $800 to build your own and have the best of both worlds.

Battlefield 2 (Get a mod for graphics enhancement), Still very active and great.

Sanctum 2 is a Tower Defense Shooter, With great graphics and active Multiplayer.

Gotham City Imposters is FTP, But it has a very steep learning curve (People are very competitive).

Mirror's Edge. Cheap and great. Doesn't have a multiplayer, But it is so good you won't care.
I'd play more MMOs if there was no chat.

Do people still play GCI? I really enjoyed it a while back on PSN, but I've avoided it on Steam because I assumed it was dead.

If you're alright with TPS then Mass Effect 3 is hands down my favorite coop shooter of all time. Killing Floor has a similar dynamic in the first person, though it focuses on upgrading weapons within matches and starting you off fresh every time while ME3 has powers that require you to level up (you can have every class at 20 in an afternoon) and your unlocks are permanent. I really prefer ME3 between the two but they're both fun.
Every time I try to go where I really wanna be it's already where I am, 'cuz I'm already there

TF2 and BF4 take up most of my FPS time. DayZ is a close third if you count that.

There's no point in buying CS:GO if you already own CS:S. They're pretty much the same game.

Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike (Source has a ton of hardcore players, GO is better for new players).
We march for Macragge!
