this. There is nothing on earth that is better than your friends raging so hard that it tickles your testicles when you sabotage their houses and hide all their stuff in a secret hidden chest.
You're the worst kind of person.
But yes, Minecraft is quite fun. And quite honestly, I enjoy going solo and building away/experimenting with mod packs as-much, if not more than the multiplayer side of things. Probably because I prefer to know that the world is stored on my system and not only safe from sabotaging friends, but also that I can access it at my leisure and don't have to rely on someone running a server or waiting to play it in MP.
The various modpacks out there are probably the best part about it, though.
I will buy Minecraft and Aliens Colonial Marines (I guess it's worth $2 for COOP even thought it's bad) today
Quite honestly, I actually enjoyed Colonial Marines. Sure it wasn't mind blowing or anything, but I played it with a couple friends and we had a fun time with it. It was alright as a co-op FPS game; Granted I wasn't on the pre-release-trailer-doesn't-equal-final-game bandwagon, but buying it a few patches in it was just fine for what it was, IMO.
