Well, you can buy a console with no games, or a PC with games, and you're asking on the PC hardware board...
Go with the PS4, surely Infamous Second Son will justify the $400 price tag and $5 monthly fee for the privilege of accessing all the features of the game you paid for. --- Remember to hug you're waifu.
You're using an HTPC case. This isn't a for factor designed for high end computing, so you may have cooling and performance problems, or trouble fitting your parts into the case.
Thermaltake is junk. A lot of their PSUs are sub-par or bad, mislabeled, and often times, they use the same branding for completely different units. IIRC, "Thermaltake TR2" has been both garbage and passable at different times. I'd suggest buying from a more consistent, less shady brand.
Here's an example of what you might wind up with going with a thermaltake power supply. This is based on a platform released as TR2 and TR2 RX, RX just being a modular counterpart. On the other hand, there's another TR2 750w that got a HWS Golden award. Shady brands like Thermaltake should be avoided. --- god invented extension cords. -elchris79
Well since PS4 doesn't have many games for now. Better off with a PC and get a PS4 a few years down the road, That's if you are not drowning in so many PC games by then because you bought so many because of sales you have a hard time playing any thing else :P --- SRPG games...i just love them! Thanks for the input everyone. Since everyone seems to hate the case, can anyone suggest a case worth buying that isn't a desktop tower (preferably HTPC, but I'm willing to look at anything) and would fit in a reasonably large entertainment center?
I have enough space where I could fit a desktop horizontally and still have room for airflow, just to give a rough idea on how much space I'm working with.
