he needs duel monitors
he wants Windows 7
Im pretty sure the parts are more or less US prices hes looking for good airflow and worried about if he should get water cooling or not (anyone know the pros and cons about it?) due to the rendering times and stuff like that.

anyone got any builds or recommendations any help would be greatly appreciated.

and hes gonna need a crapton of HDD space and a USB 3.0 mobo (im guessing thats standard now its been a couple years since i last looked through any parts)

What do you mean by streaming?
We're Americans! We don't quit just because we're wrong.
We just keep doing the wrong thing until it turns out right.

I'm guess he wants something like able to run BF4 at high settings while able to stream on twitch.... or something close to that.

Well I don't know exactly what you are looking for TC but I came up with this...

You can often find the 8320 for ~$130, so I'd be looking at that over the 8120.

For a little less than $260 you could alternatively get a GTX 760.

You could also save by getting a smaller HDD initially.

If someone has access to a .edu email, they can get Win 8 Pro for $70 on microsoftstore.com. It's more work to download the ISO files for install but could save some.

I revised my build but if he is doing some high quality special effects type stuff then the vid card that I put in it will most likely not be enough. Just for basic rendering and and midly special effects it should work very well.

I don't know how much HDD space he will need but a 3TB drive will hopefully be enough for a little while.

8350 is a terrible value. 8320 is almost always significantly cheaper for essentially the same thing.
That said, on a $1000 budget, for a media station, may as well go i7. If PCPartPicker wasn't broke right now, I'd part something out.
