Has there been any news about Xbox One controllers working on PC?

I feel like I saw an article saying some official drivers/software/whatever would be available by the time Titanfall releases, but I haven't been able to find it.

Outside of MS saying that it would be able to work sometime in 2014, has there been any other word to say when it would happen?

Titalfall hasn't been released yet.

Anyway, last I heard a driver was planed for Q4 2014. My memory is a bit hazy, though.

I would just stick with the 360 controller. it's much better. I own the xbone controller and that only good thing about it is the dpad.

But I really want those rumble triggers. And I hate the 360's D-Pad enough that the XBone controller is still worth it.

those rumble triggers aren't good enough to make that controller worth using. and the dpad does not save the whole controller. they should have just slapped the xbone dapd, rumble weights(not the crappy triggers) and the texture on the analog sticks, onto the 360 controller and it would have been perfect

Microsoft are too busy trying to make it work properly on the Xbone and you are expecting them to make it work for PC.

The driver/update you heard about is for the console.
