I need to wipe all the memory but only have the games to back up. I dont want to download everything again because my internet is really slow. Can I even back up games I have installed?

Yes you can. Pretty sure you can just backup your steamapps folder, or use a program that does it for you. I think there was one called Steam Mover or something similar.

Steam Apps > Common

Where all the games are held. I'd recommend using Steam Mover as well. It's a good program.

Backup Steamapps and make sure you keep the actual .exe of Steam. Everything else will be redownloaded by Steam when you first start it and it doesn't take that long.

Make sure you back up any saves too, since they're almost never in the steamapps folder.
