Opinions on a motherboard

#1Morph33nPosted 3/3/2014 11:26:07 AM
First off I have a budget set at about 250 for the motherboard. I'm going to be picking up a 4670k when I make the 300 mile trip to Microcenter. So far I've been looking at two Asus boards, the VI Hero and the Sabertooth. I'm not entirely sure which would suit me better. I have about 7 fans to connect and am only running one 660ti for now. Anyone have any opinions on those boards? I'm totally open to other options. Any other info needed to help with a suggestion can be provided.

Almost forgot...I'm hooking up a Glacer 240l as well in a Haf X case.

I also read some half decent praising for the Gigabyte OC. The 200 dorra one.

get hero, an you'd probably save more cash buying from newegg/amazon than making that 300 mile trip if your driving. (paying for gas)

I like MSI's MPower motherboard. Between the one you posted though, I would say the Hero board.

I'm making the trip that way anyway. It just happens to be on the way. Figured I may as well hold out and save a few bucks.
