It will last you years without upgrading if all you want to do is play games and not make your epeen feel better by posting how you get 120FPS in every game on your triple 4K display setup.

While there may be better value options for the CPU at the MRSP prices, the 8350 is still a very good processor and it greatly depends on how much you pay for individual parts whether they're worth it.
