What was the worst console to PC port ever in your opinion?

The original final fantasy 7 was awful. The videos looked worse than the console version. the game crashed all the time (the cid scene in particular was extremely buggy) and worst part, the songs were in midi format at a time when cd quality was common.

Final Fantasy X, XII, XIII, Red Dead Redemption, Earth Defense Force...etc.

Pretty much all the games that don't have a PC port.

Oh, you thought they made this game for you? You clearly bought the wrong game.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD. Came out a month after Dark Souls did on PC, had even fewer options. It's also quite buggy.

GTA IV runs fine, people just think that they can crank the settings all the way up because the sliders allow it. Now DkS on the other hand was a terrible port, but it was easily fixed by a user made mod.

Dark Souls is an exact console port that runs better than on consoles... It's not bad, it's just exactly what you get on consoles.

Bad ports are games that barely function.

The Dark Souls port was nowhere near as bad as GTA 4.

What was wrong with the GTA port? Besides the windowed modes being squished.

Performance is terrible in any settings. To run the game like it should on PC you need a machine that is overkill considering what the game actually does.

It performs below consoles on machines that are above consoles, essentially.

I've had quite a few problems with re4 hd so far. At least the ugly original port actually ran ok.
