Saints Row 2.

Really, getting this game to run properly requires a lot of work, and even then, there's the fact that the sound is completely dumbed down compared to the console versions.

don't understand how anyone can say dark souls. nothing was wrong with the port. sure it wasn't a good port.. nothing new was added. but it wasn't bad. in fact it ran better than the console versions vanilla (no horrible blighttown framerate)

Either Sonic Adventure DX or Dead Space.

GTA IV also ran bad in my experience, and not just performance issues. Very glitchy textures and shadows.

The fact that it doesn't have good support for KB+M controls bugged most people.

Halo

Halo 1 PC was a great port. It even had modding support, long before Forge became a thing.

Halo 2 however I'd agree with; making it Vista only, removing almost all of the modding support Halo 1 had, and requiring Games for Windows Live and (until recently) a bloody Xbox Live Gold subscription to play it online made it one of the worst PC ports ever.

It's too bad Halo 2 was butchered so hard. I'd love to see Halo Reach ported to PC with full modding support, including custom maps, custom player skins (Warhammer 40k modded armour types anyone?), custom vehicles (would love to have access to Pelicans on Forge World), and maybe even some Gmod type tools and weapons (cause Gmod is crap and a replacement would be nice to have). Also would be nice if it used Steamworks for multiplayer and allowed for Dedicated servers and proper mid-match joining.
