What was the worst console to PC port ever in your opinion?

saints row 2, as others have said, but ill explain exactly why

the simulation speed of the game was based off the speed of the processor. thats fine on the console version, where the speed was always 3.2 ghz tri-core.

the same cannot be said for the pc.
if your system was clocked at 3.0-3.4ghz, you werent going to experience as many problems.

if your system was like mine (using a quad core, which is clocked lower by default), they game ran quite a bit slower (not fps loss, the actual simulation ran slower (on mine it was something like 29%)

the same worked going above the 3.2ghz mark.

the way it was "fixed" was someone created a modified save that spawned you in a car that drove very slowly, in a straight line, and you needed to run a stopwatch to see how long it took you to get from point a to point b, the modify settings to try and get that time to the one that was similar to the one figured to run at 100% simulation speed)

The stopwatch thing isn't needed anymore though, since the beta version of PowerTools autodetects the right speed and adjusts the game as needed.

Also, this speed bug doesn't happen in Windows 8.

The original Street Fighter II PC port on 3.5 diskette.

Not really sure if it's fair to count these sorts of things since they're more or less a curiosity nobody even remembers existed at this point.

Still though, I'll see you that and raise you DOS Castlevania-

GTA 4. They didn't even bother to fix it, lmao. At least with Dark Souls it had a terrible launch but they fixed it.

Sonic Adventure DX is the worst one I've played in recent memory. I think I remember a really bad port of Mega Man though... I don't think it was developed by Capcom, it was just a crappy port of Mega Man 1 or something that someone made for PC.

Final Fantasy 7 gets a dishonobru mention for butchering the music, requiring you to register with Square Enix to play it, broken name entry, and spotty joystick support.

EDIT: NVM on the Mega Man game... it's not a port, just a terrible game. And yeah, that's how it ran in the original DOS version, the person playing isn't doing anything wrong:

RE4's original port, MGS2 or DMC3. Horrendously bad ports.
