Does the Xbone pad fully work on a Windows 8.1 pc same as a wired 360 pad?

Xbox One controller is not currently supported natively on PC.

The answer to the original question: No you cannot, but I'm sure that will change sometime this year.

The Xbone's controller may be the finest one ever made.

DS4 is top dog

lol no it's not. It's a huge improvement over the DS3 and a great controller but the 360 pas is still better,

I own 360, ps3 and ps4, and imo the DS4 is the best controller ever. The analog stick placement isn't bad at all. I much prefer having the dpad in the primary position for 2d games.

I love the dualshock, and prefer the PS3 controller over the 360's by a long shot.

But the 360's biggest failing -- its D-pad -- has been completely perfected with the Xbox One.

Microsoft said they are going to release the driver for PC use in a few months. Otherwise, maybe wait for the Steam controller.
